I wasn't thinking of the Soul Asylum song's title, so it didn't occur to me why she thought that. The track originally was a complete rip off of Tom Petty’s iconic ‘Runaway Trains’ which was all a complete accident according to the Fleetwood Mac star. She said to me all along she had thought the song was recorded by Tom Petty. One night ages ago, I was driving somewhere with Corlis, one of my girlfriends, and the song "Runaway Train" by Soul Asylum came on the car radio. Well, here's something I *can* clear up some confusion about. Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers spent much of 1986 on the road as Bob Dylans backing band. I wish by some miracle it was a mistake, or a communication breakdown. 'The Runaway Train', a 1956 cover of the Vernon Dalhart song by Michael Holliday, popular on children's radio in the UK. I posted this on my FB timeline a few weeks ago, the awful night that our beloved Tom entered immortality, using your upload as the one with this song that I linked it to: "And more conflicting reports keep rolling in now the LAPD is saying Tom Petty has NOT died.
